Tracing Paths of Love through Poetic Inquiry

In response to this call for poetic inquiries that speak the dynamism of an animate pluriverse, honor what we hold sacred, and might serve as medicine during these cataclysmic times, poems-as-research offer a meditation on power love in myriad forms, teach, inspire sustain us. Weaving mythopoetic thought imagery amongst everyday events mundane realities, surfaces core currency. Evoking wonder children, care teachers, mentors, friends, poems sing world, world—the animated natural written wor(d)ld expressive animation love. Specifically, inquiry traces three synchronous veins my life they weave through writing-as-research: daughters (and intractable childhood); beloved teacher mentor, American poet Robert Bly; secular-spiritual awakening, beating heart social justice personal/political activism.
